Raghav Pandya
Professor and DeanRaghav Pandya is a hardcore industry professional with an Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bhopal University followed by Masters in Design in Industrial Design from IIT, Delhi (CEED AIR 18). With immense experience of 15 years in the field of motorcycle design in world's largest two-wheeler company "Hero MotoCorp", he is credited for designing India's most successful motorcycles and scooters; which cover around half of popular market share in India. With a global exposure doing design projects in Africa, Latin America and South Asia, he has also been a very active participant in various user researches in Milan, Cologne, Birmingham, Tokyo and New Delhi auto shows. He has also worked with international design studios and suppliers in Europe and Japan. His expertise includes all aspect of product design from concept development till product unveiling. As an industry professional, he brings superior acquaintance in product forecasting, benchmarking, product development, manufacturing processes and branding. He has proficiency in all design modes of sketching including clay modelling and surface modelling processes. His strongest hold is in understanding the market demand and transforming it into the most successful products. He also has deep insight in graphic design, logo design, color and trim selection, and has also looked into accessory design section in his previous association. His proficiency in the field and the passion for wide spreading industry-oriented education has brought him to contribute as a faculty member of Industrial Design in Avantika University.
